WHO WE ARE: Hilke Meyer-Reumann (Founder & Animal Health Specialist)   Hilke is a certified Holistic Health Practitioner for animals and studied Animal Naturopathy and Animal Psychology at the Academy of Animal Naturopathy in Hamburg, Germany. Some of the main therapies besides many other different methods and healing modalities that are available in this field that Hilke majored in are, Animal Psychology, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, Pulsed Magnetic Field, Pain Management and Canine Hydrotherapy. During her studies, she also did a hands-on training at one of Hamburg’s largest veterinary clinics, helping to bring the natural health approach to animal owners. She comes from a family of healers, growing up with an understanding and ‘the healing touch’ for animals. Hilke was born in Hamburg/Germany, but has lived in the Middle East all her life and has a profound fondness for the United Arab Emirates. Since her early childhood years she has been closely involved with animal training, participating in the ‘Dubai Dog Show’ (the Middle East’s largest Pet Show) since 1998. Hilke and her own dog have also achieved 1st prize in the agility competition for 3 years in a row. Hilke is also an avid and immensely experienced horse-rider. She has been riding and competing upon horses since 1988 and has thus developed an immense love for these animals, with a special passion for Arabian horses. Many of the disciplines she has competed in (and continues to do so) include racing and endurance events, as well as show jumping and dressage. Most recently Hilke provided her services to various animal shelters & rescue organisations in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Germany, Australia and the United Kingdom. Hilke has always had a house filled with pets such as rabbits, dogs, cats, gerbils, birds and parrots. "If your dog doesn't like someone, you probably shouldn't either." - Unknown Dr.med. Julia Behrends,  MRCVS (German Veterinary Surgeon)  Dr. Med Julia Behrends is a German qualified veterinarian who was based and working in the UK for the last 13 years (MRCVS). Dr. Julia's fields of experience are in both domestic and large animal practices.    Dr. Julia has also developed a special interest in pain management and rehabilitation in animals. Like Hilke, Julia also utilising the methods of veterinary acupuncture and canine rehabilitation. Julia has only recently moved to the UAE with her family, horses and dogs and is greatly looking forward to meeting all of Energetic Panacea's loyal friends.  Julia's services at Energetic Panacea Clinic will include all conventional veterinary services for example:   * Micro-chipping    *Vaccinations   * Surgical Procedures   * Health Checks    *Obesity Clinics   Rommel Patricio (Veterinarian Assistant & Pet service Assistant)   Rommel Patricio is also a new member to Energetic Panacea Clinic.  Rommel is Dr. Julia's helpful hand.  Rommel will take care of all your needs when you enter the clinic and make your fluffies feel comfortable when they stay with us for boarding.   Hilke Meyer-Reumann and Dr. med. vet Julia Behrends will be running a German Clinic for Conventional and Alternative Veterinary Medicine.
